Hoops for Haiti a Big Success
"Thank you to everyone for the generous support of the Hoops for Haiti event. T-shirt sales and some kind donations totaled just under $2,000, and Coach Cluver saw it fitting to toss in a bit extra to bring it to a symbolic $2,012 -- putting the quake behind us, living in the present, and looking forward. While financial contributions are great, awareness of the issues and a show of moral support to those providing solutions is equally valuable. Check out the new, daily stories of brave Haitians with whom Haitian Families First works, enjoy fabulous pictures and video snips, be inspired -- www.HaitianFamiliesFirst.org (also on Facebook) Talk with your friends and neighbors. Follow the progress. Meci anpil! (Haitian Kreyol for "Thank you, very much!")"
Trojan Times Link
We have added a new link to our home page called Trojan Times. It is listed below in our "School Links" area. The Trojan Times will archive larger school related articles that appear in the Herald & Review.
FFA Chapter Challenge
The Maroa Forsyth FFA Chapter is again in the FFA Chapter Challenge and would like to have the farmers and landowners be a support system that lifts our chapter into the top ten for the state again. We would like to have you go to the Chapter Challenge website and register as a famer - please select Maroa Forsyth as a chapter you would like to support. We were able to last year help with National Convention costs, FFA Jackets for freshman, and then Banquet costs coming up in May. We were extremely fortunate!
We are asking for more help this year! Thanks for your support!
