Previous Students of the Month


December-Carlie Sobol-Senior- is a cheerful, compassionate team player on whom one can count to get the job done -- both in her extracurricular activities and in the classroom.  Bright and intuitive, Carlie also takes seriously feedback on her academic work and puts forth diligent effort to hone her writing and analytical skills.  Appropriately sensitive to the nuances relevant to effective service and championing human rights, Carlie always keeps a good sense of humor about herself and it is delightful to work with her. She has a bright future!  --Mrs. Cluver

November-Logan Brodhead-Senior arrives at school early each morning, with a smile on his face. He has a friendly manner and approaches his studies with a positive attitude. He is respectful in his dealings with faculty and classmates alike. I have Logan in Psychology this semester and his work has been exemplary. He listens attentively and asks thoughtful questions. His drive and desire to be the best he can be is apparent. I wish Logan continued success in all his future endeavors. – Mrs. Hazlehurst


October-Lindsay Mandrell-Junior Lindsay led a small group of Art students in designing and painting windows for Homecoming, worked with several other students on decorating the Hallway for her Junior class and she will be working on a project designing and painting a visual aide for the Middle School PBIS program. She works during her study hall to help me as an unofficial student assistant and excels in my Art class. - Ms. Kathleen Picchietti Zimmerman

September-Isra Hasnain-Soph., September's Student of the Month, is not only intelligent, articulate and always well--prepared for class, but she also thinks deeply and asks excellent questions.  Additionally, Isra has a delightful personality, as she's both kind and humorous.  Teachers and students alike enjoy working with and being around Isra.  She represents well MFHS!


August- Cody Shleder- Fr. Congratulations to Cody Schleder (Fr.) for being August's Student of the Month! Cody is the epitome of politeness and kindness. His sincerity is refreshing and appreciated by his peers and teacher. In addition, Cody comes to school each day enthusiastic and ready to work. He submits quality work and his attitude is exemplary.
