What Is the mission of the Foundation?
The mission is to enrich the lives of Maroa-Forsyth Students through enhanced educational opportunities. Developing a strong financial base through endowment funds and gifts
will make the critical difference between basic education and excellent
education. The Foundation is a separate, legal entity and not part of the school
district. There is ongoing communication and cooperation between them. When you contribute to the Maroa-Forsyth School District Foundation, you will be helping to support a variety of programs. All age levels and curricular areas will be considered. Our primary focus is -

Who Makes The Decisions About What Programs
Are Funded?
Decisions will be made by the Foundation Board of Directors. Both the
School District and Board of Education are represented on the Foundation's
Board. The goal is to establish an endowment which will be self-sustaining.
Its immediate goal is $150,000. The Board of Directors of the Foundation is responsible for the financial
management of the Foundation's funds. The Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3)
tax exempt corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Illinois. Yes. The general long-term policy is to fund projects from investment
